[Oct. 9, 2013] Today, we make the OFFICIAL CALL to women composers and instrumentalists for the first MUSICWOMEN CONFERENCE®©™ on October 9-12, 2013, in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, U.S.A., hosted by Women in Jazz South Florida, Inc. with partners – South Florida Symphony, Women in Jazz Austin Texas, Instrumental Women Pasadena California, The Many Colors of a Woman Connecticut, and International Women in Jazz New York.

The mission of the MUSICWOMEN Conference is to increase the profile of the presenting organizations that are dedicated to the promotion of the music of women, globally. Performers and panelists must be a member-in-good-standing of one of the presenting organizations. We welcome partnerships, submission of compositions to be performed, and papers to be presented.

Anyone garnering sponsors may receive a 10% commission.
