Listen to the 100+ archived shows of Musicwomen Live. The brainchild of jazz/blues singer, composer, author and educator Diva Joan Cartwright, MUSICWOMAN is a phrase referring to dynamic women musicians around the world who compose and perform their own music. From July 2008 to December 2010, on her weekly Internet radio show, MUSICWOMAN LIVE! Diva JC interviewed women musicians and vocalists, featuring their original music. She also holds forums on the business of music, the healing qualities of music and the origins of jazz and blues. The archived program is sponsored by WOMEN IN JAZZ SOUTH FLORIDA, INC. founded by Joan in 2007, to document and promote women in jazz and blues.
